Brad A. Brown is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. He attended Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 1990. He met his wife during his sophomore year of college and they were married in September of 1991. God blessed them with a daughter, in February of 1995. Brad was involved in ministry both at St. Mark’s and its daughter congregation, New Beginnings Lutheran Church, in Pacific, Missouri. Brad led the youth group and also assisted in leading worship and preaching.
Brad has worked in the fields of Security, Building Services Management and the Mortgage Banking industry.
Brad enrolled at Concordia Seminary in June of 2004. During the first two years of his education, Brad served as a field worker at Messiah Lutheran Church in Weldon Springs, Missouri. Brad’s vicarage year was served at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in West Des Moines, Iowa under the supervision of Rev. David Dahlke. During his final year at the Seminary Brad served his field education at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Eureka, Missouri. During his final year at the Seminary he served as the Student Manager for the Seminary’s Department of Safety and Security. Brad received his Master of Divinity degree in May of 2008. Brad was ordained at New Beginnings Lutheran Church in Pacific, Missouri on June 8, 2008. He was then installed as Associate Pastor at Grace on June 22, 2008.
