The Board of Preschool Ministry shall provide parents and their pre-school age children with opportunities to fulfill a child’s spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social and physical needs.

Duties and Responsibilities.

• Maintain a job description for the Preschool Director.
• Employ teachers who confess Jesus Christ as their risen Lord and Savior and who are active in a Missouri Synod congregation or in another Christian church. All teachers must agree to teach in accordance with our understanding of scripture;
• Employ or appoint other personnel as necessary
• Approve upon the recommendation of the Pastor and Preschool Director, the curriculum used in the Preschool
• Approve and revise as necessary the Preschool Handbook, operating procedures and job descriptions as developed by the School Director.
• In agreement with the Preschool Director, determine length of the Preschool year and Preschool hours.
• Serve as final arbiter in case of a grievance, which may arise.
• With the Preschool Director, develop, approve and maintain a budget and regulate tuition amounts, fees and salaries.
