The Board of Trustees shall be charged with the oversight, appearance and maintenance of the corporate property of the Congregation.

Duties and Responsibilities.

• Have custody and control of the corporate property and make such rules and regulations and perform such acts, as it may deem necessary and appropriate for the maintenance and improvement of the Church property. Upon proper authorization by the Voters Assembly, the Board of Trustees may sell, mortgage, lease, or otherwise convey and dispose of the property of the Congregation.
• Sign legal documents, make contracts and represent the Congregation in court when necessary.
• Have authority to purchase equipment and supplies necessary for the efficient operation of the Church. When the expenditure of funds for the maintenance and improvement of Church property, purchase of equipment and-or supplies does not exceed the sum of $1,500.00 per project, the Trustees need not obtain the authority of the Church Council or the Voters Assembly.
• Employ and discharge, in consultation with the Business Manager, such personnel as may be necessary for the operation and maintenance of Church property.
• Present to the Church Council prior to the October Voter’s meeting proposed improvements for the coming year.
