The Youth Board, as assistants to the called Youth Ministry Leader(s), shall concern themselves with the spiritual life of the youth and be charged with the supervision and development, programming, and implementation of all youth ministry activities.

The Board of Youth Ministry shall be responsible for guiding the Youth Ministry in such as way that the needs of the entire Congregation are adequately served. This shall be done with the assistance of the Pastor(s) and other Called leadership. In addition, the Board shall:

  • Develop, maintain, actively be involved with and regularly evaluate a system of ministry to all youth of the congregation in order to care for them and enlist them in the mission and ministry of the congregation.
  • Assist the Called Youth Ministry Leader(s) in ministering to youth of the congregation who are struggling with difficult issues.
  • Pray for, encourage, and be concerned about the spiritual, emotional and physical health and welfare of the Called Youth Ministry Leader(s) and their families.
  • Daily be in prayer for the Youth Ministry.
  • Serve as a mentor in the lives of the youth both in the congregation and in the community so that they have a role model of mature faith in Christ.

Thursday - 2:00 PM Prayer Service at Grace Lutheran Church

Holy Communion is celebrated at all Services on the first, third and fifth Sunday each month
